Puri, July 13 [UDN}: Following the final preparations for the Rath Yatra, the Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple has announced that the duration of Navayouvan Darshan on 14 July will be comparatively shorter than usual.
On 15 July, which is observed as Ubha Day, darshan of the deities will remain completely closed for devotees.
No unauthorized person will be allowed to climb onto the chariots. Strict action will be taken against anyone violating this rule.
The use of mobile phones on the chariots will also be strictly prohibited. Video cameras will monitor unauthorized entry, disguised individuals, and any use of mobile phones on the chariots.
To ensure better management and smooth conduct of the festival, two sets of chariot ropes will be kept ready this year.
