Nandapur SDPO Receives Heartfelt Farewell Felicitation: “I Will Never Forget Nandapur”

Koraput: Nandapur Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sambit Kumar Majhi has been transferred to Bhadrak district. On Tuesday evening, a farewell felicitation ceremony was organized by the Paduva Vaishakhi Parivar and Narayan Panda Smriti Sahitya in the premises of the SDPO office.

During the ceremony, SDPO Majhi reflected on his one-year tenure in Nandapur and expressed his gratitude for the support and cooperation of the local people. He emphasized that even after assuming his new responsibilities in Bhadrak, he would always remember Nandapur and its reputation. His emotional farewell speech moved many, and tears welled up in his eyes as he expressed his deep attachment to the region.

In his speech, Majhi also acknowledged the guidance of former SDPO Sanjay Kumar Mohapatra, whose advice had helped him carry out many initiatives successfully.

As a mark of appreciation, renowned poet Bichitra Nanda Panda along with others honored SDPO Majhi with a traditional shawl and a framed image of Lord Jagannath.

The farewell event was attended by Nandapur IIC Mamata Kumari Panda, SI Dhuptimayee Dharua, Vedabar Sahu, ASI Gupteswar Gauda, SK Bhakta, Dr. Ayush Garada, retired teachers Kishore Prakash Panda and Kishore Chandra Panda, Block MP representative Gopal Matam, youth leader Prabhat Gurumai, Koraput District Journalists’ Association joint secretary Trinath Khara, block coordinator Tushar Kanta Mohanty, journalists Sunil Kumar, Ashok Kumar Adhikari, Abdul Khan, social worker Bipin Mohanty, former Sarpanch and senior leader Jagannath Pangi, Sheikh Gafur, and members of the Vaishakhi Parivar including Tulesh Kumar Patra, Bhagaban Mahapatra, youth leader Sanjay Kumar Diari, and community leader Pramukh.
