Nandapur: Due to rainfall triggered by two low-pressure systems, the boundary wall of Hataguda Sevashram High School under Panthlung Panchayat in Nandapur block collapsed on Friday night.
The collapsed wall, approximately 70 feet long, was situated beside the school playground. Fortunately, no harm came to any residential students staying on the campus.
After the incident, school authorities informed the local Block Education Officer (BEO), Block Development Officer (BDO) Durga Prasad Dora, and District Welfare Officer (DWO) Sunil Kumar Tandi.
All three officials have informed the Koraput District Collector and PI & TD (Planning, Implementation & Tribal Development) authorities regarding the matter.
