Nabarangpur:May 28: Ayushman Panda, a Class 10 student of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nabarangpur, has been selected to represent the Odisha Kendriya Vidyalaya Kabaddi team in the Under-17 category. He earned his place after a selection process held in Bhubaneswar for the Kendriya Vidyalaya tournament scheduled to be held in Delhi.
Ayushman is the only player from Koraput district to qualify for the Odisha team. Earlier, he had participated as a talented player in the Odisha Senior Kabaddi team trials held at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack, where he impressed everyone with his outstanding sporting skills and performance.
Congratulations and best wishes are pouring in for his achievement of securing a place in the Odisha Kendriya Vidyalaya team.
Ayushman credited his success to the blessings and support of his father Banambar Panda of Raju Sahi, his mother Nirupama Dash, Kendriya Vidyalaya PET teacher Ankit Yadav, Nabarangpur District Sports Association Secretary Prahlad Tripathy, coach M. Balakrishna Rao, media coordinator Manoj Kumar Pattnaik, and other members associated with his journey.
