Mission Shakti Mahasangha Submits Demand Letter to Authorities Seeking Policy Action

Dabugaon: The EC (Executive Committee) members working under the Dabugaon Block Mission Shakti have submitted a written letter demanding a temporary extension of their tenure. Their demand is that, as per the government-issued directive, the reconstitution process of the EC members should be temporarily postponed.

The members argue that many of them are still under financial obligations due to loans taken under various schemes and are actively involved in group activities. Therefore, showing compassion towards their situation, they have requested that the new directive allow EC members to serve for up to three years. This appeal was officially submitted by the EC association through a press conference held on 31.03.2025.

In connection with this, the EC members of Dabugaon Block Mission Shakti Mahasangha have also submitted a written memorandum to Dabugaon BDO Sarat Majhi.

As per existing rules, an EC member is allowed to serve for three years. However, most EC members currently serving in Dabugaon Block have not yet completed their full three-year term. Considering this, they have requested certain modifications to the reconstitution process, which they believe will benefit everyone.
