Papdahandi: A young man who had migrated to Kerala as a laborer to support his family died in a bike accident. The deceased has been identified as Yukt Bhatra (25) of Saraguda village under Papdahandi block in Nabarangpur district. According to family sources, his body is expected to reach the village tomorrow.
He is survived by his elderly parents. Yukt was the sole breadwinner, and the family relied on his earnings. His sudden death has devastated the family.
According to reports, Yukt Bhatra, along with a friend, had gone to Muneoor village in Malappuram district of Kerala ten days ago as a migrant laborer. He was engaged in agricultural work there. Yesterday, while traveling by bike to another location from the village, he met with an accident, resulting in his death. His companion informed Yukt’s family about the incident over the phone. Upon hearing the news, the family broke down in grief. Yukt is survived by his wife and a 3-year-old son. His wife is deeply worried about how the family will manage in the future.
The family mentioned that Yukt’s body will arrive in the village tomorrow.
