Merger Ceremony Marks New Political Alignments at BJP Office in Kotpad

Kotpad : A merger ceremony was held today at the BJP office in Kotpad, Koraput district. Inspired by the good governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and witnessing the effective administration under the current BJP-led state government, several individuals joined the party.

In the presence of Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhattarai, many active workers from the opposition party, including the Sarpanch of Kathapada Panchayat under Baipariguda Block of Kotpad constituency, formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). More than 15 opposition workers joined the BJP and expressed their happiness on the occasion.

The newly joined members stated that despite 24 years of BJD rule in the state, rural areas saw little to no development. Now, after joining the BJP, they pledged to work collectively for the development of rural regions.
