Kolnara: The Ghat Yatra of Maa Majhighariani at Kolnara block headquarters has concluded successfully. The rituals began on the 10th with the symbolic arrival of the goddess’s footprints at the temple. On Friday evening, Maa’s sacred pot (ghata) was taken in a procession through various neighborhoods of Kolnara village, during which devotees worshipped her feet at every home.

Various traditional rituals were performed by local priests, and large numbers of devotees gathered to catch a glimpse of the goddess adorned in gold decorations (Sunabesha).

On the final day today, a hom yajna (sacred fire ritual) was held in the temple. In the evening, the ghata was taken in a concluding procession, followed by a fire-walking ritual (Nian Mada) around 10 PM. The three-day Ghat Yatra of Maa Majhighariani came to an end peacefully and in a well-organized manner.
