Kotpad: Today, the birth anniversary of Jai Veer Hanuman and the festival of Maha Bishuba Pana Sankranti were celebrated with great grandeur at the daily market area in Kotpad. Following the early morning rituals and worship, a homa and yajna were conducted in the presence of thousands of devotees, turning the atmosphere of Kotpad town festive and devotional.
Various sankirtan groups from nearby areas participated in the celebrations, singing devotional songs and creating a spiritual ambiance filled with the chants of Lord Rama. A grand arrangement of anna prasada (community feast) was made for more than 5,000 devotees.
The celebration was led by the temple priest of the Veer Hanuman Temple, located at the daily market of Kotpad, Prakash Das, and was made successful with the wholehearted support of the local residents. The event stood out as a remarkable and successful observance of Hanuman Jayanti this year.
