Kotpad Nrusingha Chaturdashi was celebrated with great fervor on Sunday across the state. A grand celebration was held in the premises of the famous Nrusingha Temple in Kotpad. The rituals began in the morning with traditional worship led by senior priest Ashok Chandra Mishra.
The day’s special rituals included worship, offering of lamps (deep daan), aarti, and distribution of prasad. Devotees from different parts of the Kotpad region gathered at the Lakshmi Nrusinghanath Temple located in Bandaguda to participate in the auspicious event.
With the full cooperation of the temple committee and active support from local devotees, the entire town of Kotpad turned festive. Special arrangements were made to serve food (anna prasad) to thousands of devotees.
Devotees attended in large numbers, took part in the community meal, and received the divine darshan and blessings of Lord Sri Sri Sri Lakshmi Nrusinghanath.
