Koraput Subhadra is the state’s largest women’s welfare scheme. To honor the immense success of this initiative, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida urged the mothers, sisters, and beneficiaries of Subhadra across the state to light lamps in their homes.
Responding to the state government’s call, mothers and sisters across every village and urban area of Koraput district, along with Subhadra beneficiaries, lit lamps and celebrated the success of the scheme. In the premises of the Koraput District Collector’s office, Subhadra beneficiaries from the town also participated in the celebration by lighting lamps.
On this occasion, several dignitaries were present, including Koraput District Collector V. Keerthi Vasan, Additional District Collector Alomani Sethi, District Social Security Officer Pushpanjali Pattnayak, Security Officer Savita Samadar, Mamata Yojana DPC Seemarani Behera, District Coordinator of the Nutrition Program Kajal Nayak, Koraput Child Development Officer Savitri Prabha Sahu, and Semiliguda Block Child Development Officer Binodini Behera, along with other officials.
