Bhubaneswar, May 06:: The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences have been honored with a prestigious national award for their outstanding contribution to the field of sports.
The institutions were conferred with the “Chinta O Chetana National Award” during the 49th National Baisakhi Festival held at Rabindra Mandap on Wednesday. The award is presented for significant contributions in sports and social development, with the joint support of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The award was received by Sports Director Dr. Gaganendu Dash from the chief guest, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan.
On this occasion, founder of KIIT and KISS, Achyuta Samanta, congratulated all members for this notable achievement.
