Kadakipani Village Holds Independent Gram Sabha for Local Governance

Baipariguda: A crucial Gram Sabha was held in Kadakipani village under Dandabadi Gram Panchayat of Baipariguda Tehsil to declare it a revenue village. The meeting was chaired by Jeypore Sub-Collector Sushri Akbaram Prerana Reddy.

In Kadakipani village, around 30 families have settled on forest land, including 9 tribal families and 21 families from other communities. To recognize the village as a revenue village, a final Gram Sabha was organized on March 26 (Wednesday).

Discussions were held to allocate land for the villagers based on their needs, with the following land distribution plan:

247 hectares for housing,

777 hectares for general use,

475 hectares for government purposes,

228 hectares under CRF (Community Reserved Forest),

Total: 1,027 hectares of land allocation.

The meeting was attended by Baipariguda Tahsildar Siddha Chaudhary, Jeypore ACF Amit Prakash Nayak, Ramgiri Ranger Ramachandra Nepak, Additional Tahsildar Jhadeshwar Deshwar, WEO Chandra Dhwaj Pujari, Dandabadi Panchayat Executive Officer Sandip Pattnaik, Samiti Member Madhav Khara, Sarpanch Bhendia Khul, Ward Member Sana Saina Santa, Forest Rights Coordinator Soma Beversa, and many other officials along with the villagers of Kadakipani.
