Jyotirlinga Park to Be Developed on the Banks of the Baitarani River with rs 25 Crore Investment Across 4 Acres of Land

Chandbali, May19:  Jyotirlinga Park will be constructed near Muan Ghat on the banks of the Baitarani River in Chandbali, close to the famous shrine of Baba Akhandalamani. Around 4 acres of land have been identified for the project, with an estimated expenditure of ₹25 crore.

The proposal gained momentum after repeated demands by Chandbali councillor Chandan Raut. Following this, state BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Manmohan Samal initiated the ambitious project.

The park will feature replicas of India’s renowned Shaivite pilgrimage sites and Jyotirlingas, including Kedarnath, Somnath, Baba Dham (Baidyanath), Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Mallikarjuna, Bhimashankar, and others.

Temple-like structures around 15 feet high will be constructed, though regular worship rituals will not be performed there. The Jyotirlingas will primarily serve as visual and spiritual attractions for visitors.

The project is expected to become a major attraction for tourists. To enhance visitor experience, the park will also include a vegetarian hotel and restaurant, galleries, landscaped parks, fountains, and other decorative features.
