Joy and Enthusiasm Mark Annual Function at Govt. Upper Primary School, Barahamusha

Jharsuguda: The annual function of Government Upper Primary School, Barahamusha, under Laikera Block of Jharsuguda district, was grandly celebrated in the school premises. The event was held under the chairmanship of Shri Shrikar Ki Saan, SMC Chairperson. The gathering was graced by Shri Manoranjan Kanta, CRC of Talamunda, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Pradeep Kumar Nayak, CRC of Sahaspur, as the Keynote Speaker. Other esteemed guests included Shri Chatralal Kisan, Teacher; Shri Sundarmani, Village Head; Smt. Anjana Kisan, Ward Member, among others. The stage was hosted by Smt. Geetanjali Mahanandia, Teacher, while Shri Azad Kumar Patel, Teacher, extended the vote of thanks at the conclusion.

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, followed by the worship of Lord Ganesh. Students showcased various performances, and a Wall Magazine was inaugurated. The program officially began with a welcome song performed by the students, followed by a school report presentation by Smt. Geetanjali Mahanandia.

The Chief Guest addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of character building among students and the significance of celebrating the annual function. The Keynote Speaker elaborated on government schemes and sensitized parents about their benefits.

The event also featured a felicitation ceremony, where meritorious students were awarded certificates, trophies, and prizes by the dignitaries. Later, under the coordination of Shri Chatralal Kisan, Teacher, the students entertained the audience with cultural performances, including dance and songs.

The event was successfully conducted with the active participation and support of teachers, SMC members, alumni, youth leaders, and respected villagers.
