Malkangiri, April 14: A joint public hearing and grievance redressal camp was organized at the Balimela Town Hall by the Malkangiri district administration to ensure prompt resolution of public issues.
The camp was chaired by District Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajshirkhe, where hundreds of local residents attended and presented their individual and community-related problems.
A total of 10 individual and 6 village-level complaints were heard during the camp. Important issues such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), land pattas, old-age and widow pensions, and assistance for persons with disabilities were discussed.
The District Collector directed departmental officials to resolve issues related to water supply, electricity connections, and road infrastructure.
Senior officials including Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil, Divisional Forest Officer Sai Kiran, Chief Development Officer Dasharath Sarabu, Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi, and CDMO Dr. Dolamani Pradhan were present and listened to the grievances of the people.
All Tahsildars, BDOs, and district-level officials also participated in the camp.
