Kalahandi , June 22 {UDN}: A significant review meeting regarding paddy lifting and procurement operations in Kalahandi district was held at the Collector’s Conference Hall. The meeting was attended by the President of the Millers’ Association and representatives of all rice millers of the district.
During the discussion, various issues related to paddy lifting, transportation, storage, and procurement were reviewed in detail. Efforts were made to identify practical solutions to the challenges faced by millers and procurement agencies to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Instructions were issued to expedite the paddy listing and lifting process. The millers were directed to complete all pending paddy lifting and delivery activities by 30 June without fail. Emphasis was placed on maintaining coordination among all stakeholders and ensuring that farmers do not face any inconvenience in the procurement process.
