In Pahalgam, near the famous tourist spot of Baisaran, about 27 tourists lost their lives due to a militant attack. This tragic news has deeply saddened the entire nation and the world. The inhuman attack has been strongly condemned by the global community.

In this moment of sorrow, condolences have been expressed for the affected families who are enduring the pain of losing loved ones. The families of the victims—husbands, wives, children, and parents—are facing the heartbreak of losing their dear ones. A condolence meeting was held by the Nabarangpur Drama Group, led by artists from the region. The group, known for addressing social issues through drama, performed in a sorrowful mood, expressing their sympathy for the affected families and urging the government to take necessary actions.

The condolence event was attended by various artists, including Jagannath Behera, Debi Prasad Tripathy, Bibudatt Sethy, Raghunath Rath, Shiva Shankar Tripathy, Gourahari Tripathy, Ritesh Pujari, Pabitra Datt, Prakshini Choudhury, Srinivas Patra, Nitya Prakash Ningi, Chaitanya Behera, and several other artists, all of whom expressed their condolences and sorrow.
