High-Tech Surveillance: AI Uncovers Cheating in Matric Exam

Cuttack: Matric students were caught cheating using Artificial Intelligence (AI) surveillance during the Matriculation Examination. On the second day of the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Matric Exam, the English paper was conducted. Board President Srikant Tarai informed that eight students were caught cheating on Monday.

These students were detected while engaging in malpractice at their examination centers through AI-powered cameras monitored from the Board’s Command Room (CCR).

On February 27, the Mathematics exam will be held. For this subject, students will get an additional 15 minutes. While exams for other subjects are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, the Mathematics paper will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM.

As per reports received from various districts on Monday, over 10,000 students were absent from the exam.
