Kotpad A farewell felicitation ceremony was organized at the Government Welfare High School in SB Nuagaon, Kotpad, in honor of Sanskrit teacher Ramachandra Nayak on the occasion of his retirement. The event saw participation from all the school’s teaching staff, including Bishnu Prasad Nayak, Chaitanya Tanti, Shivadatta Brahma, Jagannath Bhatra, Rajesh Kuldeep, Jayanti Kumari Lenka, Sushil Pujari, Lopamudra Palei, and Anita Kullu.

Villagers and community members such as Gupteswar Pattnaik, Brajamohan Pattnaik, Kunj Bihari Nayak, Santosh Kumar Padhi, school committee president Ramatandra Nayak, and prominent figures from the Kotpad region like Jayanta Pattnaik and Hemanta Kumar Patra were also present.

The ceremony took place in a deeply emotional atmosphere. Attendees, including guests and fellow teachers, spoke at length about the many virtues of Ramachandra Nayak. As a Sanskrit teacher, he was highly educated, wise, disciplined, dedicated to his duties, an excellent administrator and speaker, and well-known for his literary contributions.

His retirement has created a significant void that everyone present felt to be an irreparable loss. Many expressed sorrow over his departure and wished him a peaceful and fulfilling retired life.
