Government to Soon Issue SOP for Settlement of Long-Pending Unsettled Land Cases

Bhubaneswar, May 12:  The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the settlement of unsettled land will be issued very soon. The Revenue Minister has directed officials to expedite the settlement process of unsettled land. The Minister also stated that strict action will be taken against those illegally encroaching on government land.
The decisions were taken during a high-level meeting of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. The Minister further instructed officials to speed up the correction process of land records under Praja Khata-II.
