Ganjam Set to Shine with Solar Power Initiative

Ganjam , April,16:  Ganjam district is set to witness a new phase of development through solar energy. Under this initiative, around 100 households in each पंचायत (panchayat) will be powered by solar energy, transforming villages into well-lit, sustainable communities.
This move is expected to create a new identity of development for the region. Under the Central Government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the district administration is working to develop model solar villages across various panchayats in Ganjam.
According to District Collector V. Keerthi Vasan, this initiative will give a significant boost to the rural economy and bring positive transformation to village life.
