Free Medical Camp Organized on World Malaria Day in Korukonda, Promoting Awareness and Preventive Healthcare

Korukonda, April 30: On the occasion of World Malaria Day, a large-scale free medical camp was organized at Balimela.
The camp was conducted in the premises of Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, Balimela, under the initiative of Dr. Shibanarayan Patra, Principal of Uttam Mallick Group of Institutions, in collaboration with Great Eastern Medical School and Hospital.
Various health services were provided during the camp, including treatment for different diseases, free distribution of medicines, blood pressure and sugar screening, as well as 2D Echo and ECG tests.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest Ajit Singh Bariha, Sub-Inspector of Balimela Police Station, along with DGM M.S.K. Mohan from the medical institution.
This initiative by the Uttam Mallick Group proved highly beneficial for the residents of Balimela, with more than 350 patients receiving treatment. Chairman Uttam Mallick expressed that such initiatives will continue in the future.
Local residents, police personnel, teachers, and several individuals who supported the event were also thanked for their cooperation.
