Former Students’ Council Members Submit Memorandum to Vikram Dev University Vice-Chancellor on Student Welfare Issues

Jeypore, May 14:  Former members of the Students’ Council met the Vice-Chancellor of Vikram Dev University in Jeypore and submitted a memorandum regarding various student welfare issues. They requested that self-financed courses such as B.Ed, MBA, and Computer Science be offered free of cost to students.
The delegation highlighted that many economically weaker students are unable to pursue higher education due to the high fees charged for self-financed courses. They urged the university administration to take necessary steps to reduce the financial burden on students and ensure equal access to quality education.
The former council members also discussed the need for improving academic infrastructure and expanding educational opportunities in the university. The Vice-Chancellor assured them that their demands would be examined sympathetically in the interest of students.
