Form Fill-Up Fee Waived for SC/ST Students Appearing in Matric Supplementary Examination

Cuttack, May 23: The form fill-up fee for SC and ST students appearing in the 2026 Matric Supplementary Examination has been waived.

In this regard, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has issued a notification to all educational authorities across the state. Earlier, regular and ex-regular candidates belonging to SC and ST categories were exempted from paying form fill-up fees, but this benefit was not available for supplementary examination candidates.

For the first time this year, SC and ST candidates appearing in the supplementary examination will also receive a fee waiver. The fee amount for these students will be paid to the Board by the State Government through the SC/ST Department.

Headmasters have been instructed to complete the form fill-up process for eligible students at the school level without collecting any fee. The last date for form submission is May 25.
A total of 8,364 students who remained absent in the regular and ex-regular matric examinations, along with 17,055 students who failed, are eligible to appear for the supplementary examination.

The supplementary examination will be conducted in the first week of July, and the results are expected to be published in the first week of August.
