Kotpad : The Food Safety Department conducted a surprise inspection drive across Kotpad town to assess the quality and hygiene of food being served in local establishments. The team visited several hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and fruit shops to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Officials collected food samples and checked storage conditions, cleanliness, expiry labels, and overall sanitation. The department aims to curb the sale of substandard or unsafe food and promote public health awareness.
Strict action will be taken against vendors found violating safety norms, officials said.
