Bhubaneswar, May 11: Concerns over a possible cyclone are growing stronger. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a cyclogenesis alert following the formation of a cyclonic circulation over the South Andaman Sea. According to the weather update released this morning, the system has developed in the South Andaman Sea region and is being closely monitored by meteorologists. The IMD has further predicted the formation of a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal within the next week, raising the possibility of adverse weather conditions in the coming days.
