Kolnara,Aug 8 [UDN}: A farewell felicitation ceremony was organized by PM SHRI Jagadamba Government Higher Secondary School, Kolnara, to honour the retiring Kolnara Block Education Officer and four teachers.
The programme was attended by Rayagada District Education Officer (DEO) Bhajanlal Majhi as the chief guest, while Additional District Education Officer Shantilata Muni and former Principal Rajendra Nath Mishra graced the occasion as guests of honour.
The retiring Block Education Officer Manjulata Jena, who superannuated on July 31, along with In-charge Principal Jharanabala Beura, who was transferred to another school, senior science teachers Santoshi Tripathy and M. Anita, and senior mathematics teacher Pradosh Ranjan Senapati were felicitated during the event.
Principal Jyotsnarani Behera coordinated the programme, while Sanskrit teacher Dhananjay Bagharshi conducted the stage proceedings.
On the occasion, District Education Officer Bhajanlal Majhi handed over the pension proposal documents to retiring BEO Manjulata Jena.
The event highlighted the valuable contributions of the retiring and transferred educators towards the field of education.
