Ex Board U.P. School Hosts Grand Annual Celebration

Umarkot: The annual celebration was held at the Government Ex Board U.P. School in Umarkot. The event was chaired by the headmaster of the school, Satyajit Chauhan. The main guest, Radha Bhatt, the Chairman of the Umarkot Municipality, addressed the students, encouraging them to set high goals and strive to become great individuals in life.

The honored guests present at the event included Alok Kumar Anugulia, Municipal Executive Officer; Ishwar Chandra Majhi, Umarkot Education Officer; Nityananda Nanda, Minister of School and Adult Education; Ashok Kumar Patra, local representative; Balabhadra, local representative; Sudhanshu Dash, Deputy Chairman of the Municipality; and former headmaster of the school, Markand Bebersha. The guests called for the development of the school while remembering its rich culture and heritage, which was established in 1915.

The headmaster of the school, Markand Bebersha, reflected on the memories of the past and spoke about the achievements of several students who had excelled in their respective fields. Ranjita Anderson, a teacher of the school, gave the welcome speech, and student Ananya Pattnaik performed the opening song. The program continued with a speech by senior teacher Praveena Satpathi, who presented the annual report.

The event also included a recognition ceremony where students who had excelled in state-level sports were awarded. The cultural program performed by the students captivated the audience and left everyone impressed. The teachers who contributed to the event included Urmila Pradhan, Nila De, Nibedita Sahu, Geetanjali Paricha, Chandrika Bhakta, Sasmita Parida, Anupama Behera, and Pinki Rani Sarkar.
