Double Weather Warning Issued in Odisha as Heatwave and Thunderstorm Threat Loom Over Several Districts

Bhubaneswar, May 25:  Severe heatwave conditions along with Kalbaisakhi (thunderstorm activity) are likely to be witnessed across the state.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for Kalbaisakhi along with intense summer heat conditions.
According to the forecast, temperatures are expected to rise from tomorrow onwards.
At the same time, a warning has also been issued for Kalbaisakhi storms.
For the next five days, strong gusty winds, rainfall, and lightning/thunder are expected to continue.
This double warning will remain in effect until the 23rd.
Yellow and Orange alerts have been issued for Kalbaisakhi along with severe heatwave conditions.
Today, Orange Alert has been issued for 8 districts due to Kalbaisakhi, while Yellow Alert has been issued for all the remaining districts.
