Koraput: The results of the Matriculation Examination have been announced, and 92.83% of the students from Koraput district have successfully passed. The district recorded the lowest pass rate in the state. Among them, 12 students achieved an “A-1” grade.
Among the top scorers, Divyashree Mishra from Jaypur Saradabihar Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir secured the first position in the district with 556 marks, while Sriksha Pradarsini Chaudhury and Suhana Padhi from Borigumma Government High School shared the second position with 557 marks each.
Out of the 16,061 students who filled out the forms for the exam, 185 were absent. A total of 15,876 students participated, with 12 securing “A-1” grades.
In addition to Divyashree, other notable top scorers included Chandan Kumar Parida (552 marks) from Koraput Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Shekhar Sahu (544 marks) from the same school, and Sambit Kumar Samal (550 marks) from Semiliguda Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir. Students like Sonali Mehat (540 marks) and Divya Kumari (scores not mentioned) also made remarkable achievements.
This year’s Matriculation results have brought significant pride to Koraput district, with many students excelling in their academic performance despite challenges.
