Koraput, May 26: A district-level Vigilance Monitoring Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Koraput District Collector. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted regarding the implementation and monitoring of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Officials discussed various measures to ensure the protection of the rights and welfare of SC and ST communities in the district. The progress of pending cases, rehabilitation assistance, and awareness activities related to the Act were also reviewed during the meeting.
