District-Level Joint Public Grievance Hearing Camp Held at Kamwada, with 51 Complaints Registered for Prompt Redressal by the Administration

Malkangiri,Aug 1 [UDN}: Under the directions of Malkangiri District Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke, a District-Level Joint Public Grievance Hearing Camp was successfully organised at Kamwada Gram Panchayat under Korukonda Block.
During the camp, a total of 51 grievance petitions were registered by members of the public, including 13 individual complaints and 38 collective grievances. The initiative provided local residents with an opportunity to directly present their concerns before senior district officials.
The camp was attended by Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Somnath Pradhan, Chief Development Officer-cum-Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Dasharath Sarabu, Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi, Divisional Forest Officer Sai Kiran, and ITDA Project Administrator Haldhar Sabar, along with other senior officials.
The dignitaries reviewed the grievances submitted by the public and directed the concerned departmental officers to ensure their prompt and effective resolution.
Alongside the main grievance hearing, several government departments also set up special service camps to provide citizens with immediate access to various government services and welfare schemes at the venue.
Such administrative outreach programmes are proving highly beneficial for people living in rural areas, as they enable residents to interact directly with senior district officials without travelling to the district headquarters. This facilitates quicker resolution of public grievances while ensuring that the benefits of various government schemes reach people at the grassroots level.
The initiative also saves citizens considerable time and travel expenses by bringing government services closer to their villages. Officials from all district-level departments, including the Korukonda Block Development Officer (BDO), were present during the programme.
