Koraput May 06:: A district-level joint grievance redressal camp was organized at the premises of Baipariguda Panchayat Samiti office in Koraput district under the chairmanship of District Collector Manoj Satyaban Mahajan.
The camp was attended by Superintendent of Police Rohit Verma, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Benudhar Shabar, Jeypore Sub-Collector Yadumani Nayak, Block Development Officer Shakti Mahapatra, CDMO Sai Bishwarup, ITDA Project Administrator Trupti Barei, Baipariguda Block Chairman Prashant Gupta, and Vice-Chairperson Purnima Barik, among others.
During the camp, the Collector heard a total of 49 grievances, including 30 individual and 19 collective complaints. The issues raised mainly related to roads, housing, healthcare, drinking water, and other basic civic amenities.
The Collector directed concerned departmental officials to take immediate action for resolving the grievances. Representatives including the Block Vice-Chairperson and Panchayat Samiti members also highlighted various issues faced by villagers.
Officials from different district-level departments were present, while block staff ensured smooth conduct of the program.
