Umarkote: A meeting was held today to organize the famous Ma Inglajini Yatra and Dhoodra Mandei Fair of Nabarangpur district. The meeting, conducted at the Dhoodra Mandei Fairground, decided that the fair will begin on March 22 and conclude on March 26. A committee was also formed to oversee the fair’s management.
Presided over by Mangala Majhi, the meeting nominated Gajendra Bhatara as the chairman, along with other members forming the committee. Additionally, senior citizens from Dhoodra and nearby villages were appointed as advisory members.
Like every year, traders from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh will participate in the fair. Around 5,000 people are expected to gather, prompting Umarkote police to ensure security and peaceful execution of the event.

The meeting saw the presence of local priests, village leaders, Gandas (traditional community members), Chalan (cultural representatives), ward members, and other respected individuals.
