JEYPORE: The annual festival of Unnita High School, Dhanpur, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Shri Shakti Mahapatra,B D O, Jeypore, as the chief guest. Shri Kailash Chandra Satapathy, A B E O, Shri Swapneswar Nayak, B E O, Kotpad, and Shri Balibhadra Gappa, Sarpanch of Dhanpur, attended as honored guests.
The event was presided over by the school’s Headmaster, Shri Om Prakash Mishra. During the celebration, the guests encouraged the students to integrate education with cultural values, inspiring them to build a bright future. Senior teacher, Smt. Tanmaya Pattnayak, presented the annual report.
The school’s arts teacher, Shri Kishore Karakaria, who had previously received the State-Level Chief Minister’s Education Award, was honored for his contributions. Additionally, retired sports teacher, Shri Basudev Senapati, was recognized for his dedicated service in promoting sports at the school.
Awards were also presented to the best-performing senior and junior houses. Two students from each class were honored for best attendance and academic excellence.
Senior teacher, Smt. Sumita Mahapatra, delivered the vote of thanks. The festival’s success was attributed to the dedicated efforts of all teachers and staff, including Shri Rajendra Panda, Kishore Karakaria, Debashish Bhoi, Sushanta Khatai, Manoj Kumar Mahant, Babita Panda, Buddhadev Pradhan, Mithula Baske, Hiramani Nayak, Chittaranjan Pattnayak, Sushree Nishanka, art teacher Nrusingha Prasad Sadangi, Sharmistha Jena, junior assistant Kiran Kumar Mandal, and school peon Smt. Sanyukta Bahadur.
