Delhi: An earthquake was felt in the NCR region of Delhi in the morning. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 4 on the Richter scale, according to the National Seismological Institute. At around 4:30 AM, people in high-rise buildings experienced shaking, and many started evacuating the buildings. The epicenter of the earthquake was found to be near Dhaula Kuan, and it was confirmed to be at a depth of 5 kilometers.
In response to the earthquake in the nearby area, the Prime Minister has urged the public to remain calm and patient. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also urged people to take precautionary measures through a social media post.
