Dearness Allowance Increased by 2 percent, Bringing Financial Relief to Government Employees and Pensioners

Bhubaneswar, April 20:Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees has been increased by 2percent. It has gone up from 58% to 60%.
The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for this increase. The revised DA will be effective retrospectively from January 1.
This decision will benefit central government employees and pensioners.
