Kolnara: The foundation day of CPI(ML) Liberation was observed at Ambatota in Rengalpadu village under the Kolnara block headquarters panchayat. On this occasion, the 56th death anniversary of Charu Mazumdar and the 155th birth anniversary of Comrade Lenin were commemorated, and tributes were paid to the martyred leaders.
It was discussed that the government has passed laws like the Waqf Amendment Act and the Uniform Civil Code, which directly target the Muslim community. The meeting also addressed several issues, such as efforts to implement new anti-farmer policies after the repeal of the earlier farm laws.
Speakers emphasized the need to stop the “bulldozer rule” of Modi-Shah-Yogi, to continue the fight against fascist ideology, and to protect India from the widespread fascist destruction. It was noted that the influential class of Indian capitalists is uniting around a fascist agenda. In this context, CPI(ML) Liberation is working towards people’s democracy and national progress, stated district secretary Tripati Gamang.
The event saw participation from a large number of local residents, including Krishna Palaka, Ashtama Ullaka, Murti Miniaka, Achana Mandangi, Shiva Ullaka, Tipai Kilaka, Sebati Ullaka, Gurumurti Bagaria, Chandramani Ullaka, and Subhadra Ullika, among others from nearby villages.
