Delhi, Aug 29 [UDN}:  Chinese President Xi Jinping is likely to visit India next month to attend the BRICS Summit.

Reports suggest that Xi may arrive in India on September 12–13 with a large delegation of around 400 members.

This would reportedly be his first major visit to India in nearly seven years.

However, there has been no official confirmation yet regarding a meeting between Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speculation about the visit has intensified amid NSA Ajit Doval’s recent visit to China.

If confirmed, Xi Jinping’s visit could become an important development in India–China diplomatic relations and discussions among BRICS member countries.
