Puri, July 6 (UDN): Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is in Puri to oversee preparations for the upcoming Rath Yatra, as a special high-level review meeting is underway at the Puri Municipality Office.
The meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister, focuses on the final coordination and readiness of various departments ahead of the annual festival. Officials described it as the concluding review meeting for Rath Yatra arrangements.
Earlier, coordination meetings chaired by the RDC and the Law Minister had already been held, during which different departments submitted their preparedness reports. The Chief Minister is now reviewing the final consolidated report to ensure all arrangements are in place.
Authorities are expected to finalise last-minute preparations related to crowd management, security, logistics, and public facilities to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival.
