Bhubaneswar, July 6 (UDN): A woman from GGP Colony in Bhubaneswar has alleged online shopping fraud after receiving a stone instead of a speaker and microphone set ordered from an e-commerce platform.
The complainant said she had placed the order expecting a functional audio system, but was shocked when the package contained a stone instead of the ordered product. The incident has raised concerns over delivery verification and online marketplace accountability.
She has filed a complaint with the local police, seeking action against those involved. The woman also said that despite repeated attempts, her refund request with the e-commerce platform remains unresolved.
Police are expected to investigate the case and verify how the fraudulent delivery took place, including the role of the seller and delivery chain.
