Bhubaneswar The ‘Bhubaneswar Film Festival’ will showcase films in Odia along with nine other languages. This four-day event will feature the participation of prominent personalities from both Bollywood and Ollywood. Daily screenings of various films will take place from 10 AM to evening. The program is open to all Odia cinema lovers.
The first edition of the Bhubaneswar Film Festival was organized in 2024 by the Bhubaneswar Film Circle. Following a positive audience response, the second edition is being held this year. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for June 6 at 7 PM.
On the first day (June 6), films such as Matira Manisha, Ka, and Bhakta Salabega will be screened. On June 7, Kalira Atita—nominated for Panorama and awarded Best Film at both national and state levels—will be screened.
Similarly, on June 8, Krantidhara will be shown, and on June 9, films including Yajabara, Nirbachana, Kanakalata, and Adina Megha will be screened.

Gujarati film Bhavani Bhavai directed by Ketan Mehta
Kannada film Ghatashraddha directed by Girish Kasaravalli
Urdu film Hamid
Marathi film Shwaas
Chhattisgarhi film Bhulan the Maze
Hindi film Damul directed by Prakash Jha
Tiwa-language film Sika Lasaal directed by Bobby Sharma Barua
Additionally, the festival will screen:
Bengali film Meghe Dhaka Tara directed by Ritwik Ghatak
Hindi film Ankur directed by Shyam Benegal
