Bhubaneswar, July 8 (UDN): A bomb threat at the Bhubaneswar Court premises on Wednesday triggered a major security alert, prompting the deployment of a bomb disposal squad and additional police personnel to carry out a detailed search operation.
According to sources, the security response was initiated after the Badagada Police Station received information regarding a suspected bomb threat at the court complex. Acting swiftly on the alert, police teams rushed to the spot and began a comprehensive inspection of the premises.
The bomb disposal squad carried out extensive checks across different sections of the court building and surrounding areas as part of the precautionary measures. Security personnel were deployed to ensure the safety of court officials, lawyers, staff members, and visitors present at the location.
The authorities monitored the situation closely while the search operation continued. An investigation has also been launched to trace the source of the threat and verify the authenticity of the information.
