Papadahandi: Anisha Baral, a student of Papadahandi Adarsha Vidyalaya, has brought pride to her school, family, and village by securing first place at the district-level Group-A essay competition held in Nabarangpur on June 14, on the topic “My Dream Odisha 2036.”
During the district-level award ceremony held in Nabarangpur, Anisha was honored with a certificate, a ₹5,000 cheque, and a trophy. The event was graced by Minister of Commerce, Transport, Mines & Steel Mr. Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, School and Mass Education Minister Mr. Nityananda Gond, MP Mr. Balabhadra Majhi, MLA Mr. Gourishankar Majhi, Jharigaon MLA Mr. Narsingh Bhatara, Municipality Chairperson Mr. Kunu Nayak, the District Collector, Superintendent of Police, Zilla Parishad CEO, and the District Education Officer, among others.
Anisha’s father, Mr. Trilochan Baral, is a primary school teacher.
In the same event, K. Mahesh Kumar, a student, secured third place in the competition and received a certificate, a ₹2,000 cheque, and a trophy.
Additionally, Summa Nayak, a student of Papadahandi SSD High School, won first place in the Group-B essay competition on the topic “My Dream India 2047.” She was also awarded a certificate, ₹5,000 cheque, and a trophy, bringing further recognition to her school and region.
