Phulbani : Senior administrative officials of Kandhamal district paid a surprise visit to various Seva Ashrams in the district to observe the environment in which tribal students are living and studying. They inquired about the quality of food provided to the students and the methods of teaching being followed.
The team included the District Chief Development Officer and Executive District Council Officer Shambhunath Nandi, PA ITDA Phulbani Gadadhar Patra, Phulbani BDO Soumya Ranjan Patra, and Block Agricultural Extension Officer. They visited Pakanag village under Phulbani block, including the Kanyashram and Baida Seva Ashram, to understand whether the students were getting proper facilities.
They interacted with the students, head teachers, hostel superintendents, and staff, reviewing the educational environment. They advised that students should be taught with dedication and affection.
