Jharsuguda July 9 [UDN}:: In order to ensure the smooth, safe, and well-organized conduct of the upcoming sacred Rath Yatra, a preparatory meeting was held by the Brajrajnagar Municipality.
The meeting was attended by Municipal Chairperson Gopal Sitani, members of the municipal council, officials from the police department, representatives of WATCO, TPNODL, MCL, and members of the Rath Yatra committees from Main Market, Gandhi Chowk, Laikera, and Sanjob areas.
Detailed discussions were held regarding various arrangements for the festival, including maintaining cleanliness across the town, ensuring adequate drinking water supply, carrying out road repairs at required locations, strengthening electrical safety measures, managing traffic movement, and maintaining law and order during the Rath Yatra.
The meeting concluded with a decision that all concerned departments would work in close coordination and complete the necessary preparations within the stipulated time. Special emphasis was laid on ensuring the convenience, safety, and security of devotees participating in the festival.
