A preparatory meeting was held at the Tribal Museum in Koraput to celebrate the restoration of the historic DAV name to Government College, Koraput, with alumni members expressing pride and enthusiasm over the institution’s new identity as Government DAV College.

Koraput,June 5:  A preparatory meeting to celebrate the restoration of the DAV name to Government College, Koraput, and its renaming as Government DAV College, was held today at the Tribal Museum, Koraput under the chairmanship of senior alumnus Ajodhyanath Samal.

During the meeting, it was decided that the celebration programme will be organised for one day on 19th April 2026 at the college campus. It was also resolved to convene a larger preparatory meeting next Sunday to finalize the arrangements for the grand occasion.

The meeting concluded with enthusiasm and unity among the alumni members, with the slogan: “DAVian Alumni Unity Zindabad.”
