Bhubaneswar: Marking the completion of one year of the state government, 100 new electric buses (e-buses) were launched. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated these buses from Janata Maidan, along with the newly constructed electric bus depot at Naraj.

Public bus services by Mo Bus were already operational on multiple routes in Puri, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack. With the addition of these 100 new e-buses, services will be expanded to 8 new routes in the Capital Region.

Newly Announced Bus Routes:

Route 86: From Manu University to Mahanadi Vihar

Route 87: From Naraj Police Outpost to Mahanadi Vihar

Route 88: From NLU to SCB Medical College

Route 89: From Trishulia to Jagadguru Kripalu University

Route 90: From Khurda Bus Stand to Jagatpur

Route 91: From Baramunda Bus Terminal

Route 92: From Baramunda to Sai Temple, Biju Patnaik Park, Cuttack

New Route: From Bhubaneswar Railway Station to Cuttack CDA

These buses will be operated from the newly built Naraj Electric Bus Depot, which is constructed using green building technology. The depot is equipped with solar power systems and water recycling facilities, making it an environmentally friendly infrastructure.
