Jeypore , April. 25: MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati has urged the state Health Minister to establish a full-fledged city hospital in Jeypore, emphasizing the urgent need for improved healthcare facilities in the region. He pointed out that residents currently face significant challenges in accessing timely medical treatment, especially during emergencies, due to the lack of advanced infrastructure.
Bahinipati stressed that a city hospital would greatly enhance emergency response services and reduce dependency on distant medical centers. He also highlighted that better healthcare infrastructure would not only save lives but also strengthen the overall well-being of the local population.
The MLA further called on the government to prioritize the proposal, noting that Jeypore serves as a major hub for nearby rural and tribal areas, making the demand for a well-equipped hospital even more critical. Establishing such a facility, he added, would be a significant step toward ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for all.
